Bio:
I have been a freelance writer for kids, tweens, and YA for several years now. I am in the process of writing several picture books, one Christian Middle Grade novel, and three YA novels. I also write nonfiction articles for magazines and e-zines. I am still in the process of getting published.

I have also been writing academically for over twenty five years. I have two published books in medical ethics, fifteen articles in philosophy, and over a hundred reviews in scholarly journals.

Interview:
Q: Share one goal you have as a children’s writer and the steps you are taking to achieve it.
A:
I would like to publish a series of picture books about my cat Casey for kids. I am contacting several publishers in the hopes of getting a contract for this project.

Q: What writing project are your currently working on?
A:
I am working on a few picture books, and a Middle Grade novel.

Q: What inspires you most as a writer?
A:
I love the idea of making a difference in a child’s life and teaching children some valuable lessons in the process.

Q: What is one word of advice you received as a writer that you would like to share with others?
A:
Write every day and be persistent.
