Welcome to My World

Today I’m heading off with Jeff for a grand adventure! I’m speaking at the Los Angeles Writers Day on how to host your very own Virtual Book Tour. Jeff will be running the Powerpoint presentation for me while I speak. He’s trained in how to use a Smart Board, those fancy new boards teachers use in their classroom that are connected to computers. The room I’ll be teaching in has one, so he gets to use all his new skills to give my speech a fancy presentation with lots of bells and whistles.

Today we’re driving to the hotel and then we’ll meet the editors, agent, and other writers who will be speaking and will all have dinner together with the wonderful folks who have put this event together.

If you’re planning to attend Writer’s Day, we’ll see you there on Saturday! Be sure to introduce yourself and say hi.

  4. Nancy, I was fortunate to attend your talk at Writer’s Day-SCBI-Los Angeles. You were gracious. On the Hairy Scary Scale, I’m at #1 but #10 on the scale seems possible thanks to your encouragement. Many thanks.

    • Hip, hip, hooray, Mary! I’m glad you’re excited about stretching for some of those #10 on the Hairy Scary Scale for creating your very own Virtual Book Tour. It was fun to meet you and also have you join in my session. I can’t wait to see your book in print when it finds a home. -Nancy
