Internet Marketing: Awards and Reviews

It’s good to have a page on your book’s site that features reviews of your book.

If you don’t yet have reviews, get some! Ask teachers, librarians or related professionals you know to give you a review of your book that you can post on your site. Then also as various places start to review your site, you can include these reviews here as well.

Sometimes it’s good to include the whole review, especially if it’s from a well-known source. Other times, try to just pull one main powerful sentence or two from the review to include here at your site.

To see examples on my sites, look at the following:

D is for Drinking Gourd
America’s Black Founders
Yes! You Can Learn How to Write Children’s Books…

If you have awards your book has earned, it’s nice to also add a separate page showcasing these awards on your book’s site. Many awards usually come with a great logo, and often they supply their winners with this logo to post on their website. To see two sites where I include a page of awards, visit the following:

America’s Black Founders
D is for Drinking Gourd
