Faith Building Fridays: Beautiful

Napthali is a deer let loose;
He uses beautiful words.
-Genesis 49:21, NKJV

The more we work to learn our craft and study how to better ourselves as writers, the more we acquire the skills necessary to create stories with a beautiful flow of words. It’s as if, through the hardship and the toil, we are set free to take the words God gives us and position them as a master craftsman onto the page.

Dear Father, lead me to the conferences, the how-to books, and the teachers who will help set me free to become a better writer. Holy Spirit, teach me how to use the thoughts and promptings that You place in my heart and fashion them into a beautiful manuscript that brings honor and glory to Jesus Christ. Amen.
