Good night, Ark

Summary
This is the board book edition of the delightful rhyming story of Noah and the ark. This Bible story features a fresh new slant on this timeless account by showing how Noah helped his furry friends get back to sleep during the storm. The rhyme and rhythm of the text is like music to young listener’s ears with lots of “sound” words kids love. Pitter-pat for the rain, pops and pings for the hail, and zip and zing for the flashes of lightning that scare the sheep…BAAH! This lively tale is a perfect bedtime book, however, as Noah helps calm the chaos of the storm by crooning a “soothing sleepy nighttime tune” to the worried pairs of animals. Young listeners will cuddle down under their blankets with a smile as they hear the final words of the tale, “Goodnight friends. Goodnight Ark.” Perfect for rereading night after night!

What I Like
This sturdy board book edition is just right for little hands to hold! This is a big plus right now because my 9-month grandson loves to sit on my lap and snuggle as we read but he wants to touch the pictures and grab the pages to turn. Plus, the padded cover makes this book feel soft and huggable in a good sort of way. I love the fun wordplay and rhythm of the rhyming text, and the art is so sweet and adorable! A fantastic duo for little Bible learners to read.

-Thanks, BookLook Bloggers for another wonderful free book in exchange for my honest review!
